Word has it from our friends Teh Grifters that the silver 'Gris' trains of Paris ran their last service
this week. These were the first trains i painted as a teenger on my first trip to Paris, i had never ever seen
them before and felt like i was painting a New York subway. Every time i returned i looked forward
to painting one and they got harder to find as old spots filled up with newer, more protected bullet
type Bombardier units. Here is a selection of photo's taken of Le Petit Gris over the past few years.
